This photo was taken using my iPhone 13 at 1:00 PM on April 14, 2023, during a gardening session with my parents. This gardening session took place in my backyard located in Flushing Queens.

Firstly, my parents took me to Home Depot where we purchased the flowers and soil. Next, we had to clear the entire backyard of the weeds that are harmful to the other plants. After digging the weeds out from the roots, we dug holes in the soil where we would plant each flower. Each hole needed to be spread out to maintain the desired aesthetic. Finally, we poured the soil into the holes and placed each plant in its position.

Although gardening was labor-intensive, I enjoyed the process because I had the opportunity to spend some quality time with my family. Not only did gardening give me something to occupy my mind with, but I also felt a sense of accomplishment after making my backyard look beautiful.
